Vanessa 

Hi, I’m Vanessa, a qualified makeup and beauty professional with a BA (Hons) in Hair and Makeup for Fashion from London College of Fashion, and extensive experience within the creative industry. My background includes working on fashion shoots, runway shows, and London Fashion Week, as well as several years as a Pro Artist with MAC Cosmetics, where I delivered high-quality makeup artistry, supported client services, and helped train and develop staff in fast-paced environments.

Alongside my industry experience, I am passionate about education and working with young people in alternative learning settings. I believe makeup and beauty are powerful tools for building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and developing transferable life and employability skills. My teaching approach is practical, inclusive, and supportive, creating a calm environment where learners feel safe, respected, and able to progress at their own pace.

I am committed to helping students develop both creative and professional skills while promoting positive behaviour, self-belief, and motivation. By sharing real-world industry knowledge, I aim to inspire learners and show how creativity can open meaningful pathways to future opportunities.
